Round pegs & Square holes
My Tribe
My tribe is the men and women Steve Jobs called the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently, the ones whom are crazy enough to think that they can change the world… and wise enough to understand that real change, the type of global change we urgently need to see happening starts with each one of us.
Many are solo entrepreneurs, nurturing small businesses, working from home, networkers… all of them have big hearts, are big thinkers and aware that the big picture starts in the smallest and most mundane of activity.
Many have been on the self-help and personal development trail, seeking the Holy Grail, the philosopher’s stone, the “how to transmutes metals into gold”. Many are awakening to the fact that we’ve been barking at the wrong tree and that if secret there is, it is not quite as simple as what we have been lead to believe.
My tribe is awake, not afraid of challenging the status quo and aware that only by asking fundamentally new questions will we be lead to fundamentally new answers.
My tribe is thirsty to put on hold belief systems that no longer serve us, individually and collectively, to explore new understanding that are emerging and revealing a fundamentally new picture of what we call life, reality, success, wellness, learning, spirituality etc. and face the challenges that embracing this new worldview will initially present (like some people had their feather’s ruffled when it was discovered that the earth was not, after all, the epicenter of the universe).

Lastly, my tribe is growing weary of the digital and virtual world that breeds a sense of disconnection and isolation, and looking for experiences where hugs, smiles, laughter, tears… are not emoticons on a digital device but warm human experiences.
I see, respect and honour these men and women, as my fathers or mothers, sons or daughters, sisters or brothers.
We are seekers, philosophers and pro-active social and eco-activists, engaged and passionate. None of us knows the whole answer but together, we might figure it out.
How?
